Most digital agencies are too big to care and too slow to move. We built something different.
Based on the Sunshine Coast and Melbourne, we work with clients across Australia and internationally. There are five of us — design, digital marketing, development, WordPress and hosting, and an account manager who keeps everything moving — so you always get a specialist on your work, not a generalist stretched thin.
We're small enough that you deal directly with the people doing the work, and experienced enough to handle whatever you throw at us. No layers, no handoffs, no getting lost in a queue.

Stuart has spent 25 years building brands and digital products for businesses across Australia and beyond. He started out as Stuart Cox Design — a one-man studio — and grew it into Northbase.
He still leads design across the work and stays hands-on with clients. After hundreds of projects, he knows what separates work that lands from work that quietly underperforms — and he's still obsessed with getting the details right.
Daniel Bilsborough

Daniel leads digital marketing at Northbase — search, paid campaigns, and the strategy that ties them together. He turns marketing budgets into measurable results, not guesswork.
He's the bridge between strategy and execution, translating what a business actually needs into campaigns that earn their keep. Practical, data-led, and allergic to vanity metrics.
